Lea was active in “Dror Habonim” from 1943. She was sent to the forced labor camps where members of the movement were serving and brought them forged documents in order to help them escape. She did this for about two and a half months until she was caught, sent to the ghetto and deported to Auschwitz.
After the liberation Lea made aliya and is a member of Kibbutz Parod.
